Trench and Anderson air-raid shelter at Parnell Place, Newcastle, May 7, 1946. The pillar at right is one of the original pillars from Newcastle’s former courthouse, (which made way for the post office) on the corner of Hunter and Bolton Streets. Scanned from a negative in Greg and Sylvia Ray’s Ken Magor collection. Available in sizes from postcard to mural.
